Türkiye’de 2013 yılından itibaren Türk Ticaret Kanunu’nun yürürlüğe girmesiyle birlikte muhasebe standartları uygulanmaya başlanacağı için muhasebe meslek adaylarının ve meslek mensuplarının muhasebe standartları konusunda yeterli bilgiye sahip olmaları gerekmektedir. Bu çalışma lisans düzeyinde öğrenim gören öğrencilerin Türkiye Muhasebe Standartları hakkındaki algılarının ortaya konulması amacıyla yapılmıştır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda, öğrencilerin muhasebe mesleğine ilgi düzeyi, muhasebe mesleğini icra etme durumu, staj/iş durumu, ticaret lisesi mezunu olma durumu, bölümü tercih sırası, son sınıfta okuma durumları ile öğrencilerinstandartlar hakkındaki algıları arasındaki ilişki analiz edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak, muhasebe mesleğine ilgi düzeyi yüksek olan öğrenciler ile mesleğe ilgisi düşük olan öğrencilerin algıları arasında anlamlı bir fark ortaya çıkmış, diğer faktörlerde ise istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık ortaya çıkmamıştırAccounting standards will be implement from 2013 along with Turkish Commercial Code enter in force. Hence, the accounting professions and candidates for the accounting profession need to have adequate knowledge for the accounting standards. The study was conducted in order to reveal perception about Turkish Accounting Standards of students studying of undergraduate level. For this purpose, level of interest in the accounting profession, desire to perform the profession accounting, status of being a graduate of trade vocational school, order of preference, job / internship experience, status of being in the last year the relationship between the students’ perception of accounting standards was analyzed. As a result, there is a significant different a high level of interest in accounting profession with low level of interest in accounting profession. There is no statistically significant difference among other factors
