Üretim girdilerinin ve kaynaklarının (menşei) çeşitliliği, hem tüketici tercihleri hem de maliyet ve rekabet şartları boyutuyla teşebbüsler üzerinde yönlendirici bir etkiye sahiptir. Bu gün hemen hemen her üründe kullanılan katkı maddelerinin, insan sağlığı (fizik ve ruh) üzerindeki etki ve sonuçları ile ilgili tartışmalar, hala kesin verilerle açıklığa kavuşturulabilmiş değildir. Bu tartışmaların yol açtığı sorunlardan birisi de gıda (yiyecek, içecek) ürünlerinin hazırlanması, üretimi, korunması, paketlenmesi ve tüketiciye ulaştırılması sürecinde, helal üretim girdilerinin kullanılıp kullanılmadığı veya bizatihi ürünün kendisinin helal olup olmadığıdır. Giderek artan tüketici bilinci ve pazarın yüzlerce milyar dolarlık büyüklüğü, teşebbüslerin üretim ve pazarlama politikalarını etkilemektedir. Pazar büyüklüğünün ve üretim girdileri ile ilgili maliyet farkının, teşebbüsleri dürüstlük kurallarına aykırı davranışlara sevk etmesi, bu alanda kullanılan helal sertifikası veya standartlarının suiistimal edilmesi muhtemeldir. Bu çalışmada, dürüst rekabet anlayışının, tüketicilerin ve rakip teşebbüslerin korunması açısından helal sertifikası veya standartlarının kötüye kullanılması ve sonuçları incelenecektir
The production inputs and resource (origin) diversity have a biased impact on consumer’s choice and competition in terms of the undertakings. These days almost all of the products use chief ingredients which have a great impact on human health (physical and mental). The dispute regarding this issue yet has not been clarified. The nourishment (food and drinks) products caused discussions in matters of preparation, production, preservation, packaging and delivery to consumers, hence the process of halal production including the inputs used during it; or the discussions could be regarding the final product itself lawful or not. Increasing consumer’s awareness and market size with hundreds of billions dollars influence the enterprises. The market size, especially the difference between the cost of the final product and that of the inputs used are likely to cause contrary behavior to the norms of the halal food certification, which goes beyond the rules of honesty regarding the standards required it; eventually it might turn out that the halal certification is improperly used. In this study we will examine the protection of the fair competition, the meaning of it consumers and competing undertakings in terms of misuse and the results of the halal certification and standards
