The developments in science and technology have led to different systems theories during the last century. In particular, the grey system theory which does not need any statistical distribution has been proposed to analyze and to model increasingly complex systems with missing information and / or with incomplete information and a small sampling. In this study, a detailed literature review has been conducted for the gray system theory and its applications covering the last fifteen years. Consequently, the further research areas and some recommendations are proposed about grey system theory in terms of academic teaching and industrial research
Son yüzyılda bilim ve teknolojide meydana gelen gelişmeler farklısistem teorilerinin ortaya çıkmasına neden olmuştur. Özellikle giderekkarmaşıklaşan sistemlerin çözümlenebilmesi ve modellenebilmesi için eksikbilgi ve/veya tamamlanmamış bilgi içeren küçük örnekleme sahip veherhangi bir dağılım ihtiyacı olmayan gri sistem teorisi yaklaşımıönerilmiştir.Bu çalışmada, gri sistem teorisi ve uygulamaları hakkında ağırlıklıolarak son onbeş yılı kapsayan detaylı bilimsel yazın araştırması yapılmıştır.Elde edilen çıkarımlar ile gri sistem teorisi, akademik öğretim ve endüstriyelaraştırmalar açısından değerlendirilmiş ve çeşitli önerilerde bulunulmuştur.
