As a source of wealth has recognized that the economic factors in the economy, entrepreneurship is not the price factor, although the workforce is in the nature of labor seperates ıtself with identity. Formation of personality depends on the character, temperament and ability. Entrepreneurship, not being discussed what is and what is not in our study, is a different dimension by looking at sociocultural development of the processed effect but in this method, how entrepreneurship factor triggers other factors also is not ignored. In other words,in the first part of our study, Entrepreneurship concept and scope is mentioned in how regional development is provided by the effect of sociocultural structure affecting entrepreneurship or not. İn the second part, regional development is taking part. İn the third part linking regional development and Entrepreneurship, sociocultural structure and its effect to Entrepreneurship is mentioned and in the forth part, how regional development with the help of Entrepseneurship can be provided and the actions about regional development in Turkey are mentioned.Zenginliğin kaynağı olarak sahip olunan ekonomik faktörlerin kabul gördüğü ekonomilerde, fiyatı olmayan girişimcilik faktörü, her ne kadar işgücü niteliğinde olsa da kendini işgücünden kişiliği ile ayrı tutmaktadır. Söz konusu bu kişilik oluşumu ise karakter, mizaç ve yeteneğe bağlıdır. Girişimciliğin ne olduğu ve de ne olmadığının tartışılmayacağı çalışmamızda da, girişimciliğe farklı bir boyuttan bakarak sosyokültürel yapının kalkınmaya etkisi işlenmiş ancak bu yöntemde girişimcilik faktörünün diğer tüm faktörleri nasıl harekete geçireceği de göz ardı edilmemiştir. Diğer bir ifadeyle, sosyokültürel yapının girişimciliği etkilemesiyle bölgesel kalkınma nasıl sağlanır ya da sağlanmaz gerçeği gün yüzüne çıkartılmaya çalışılan çalışmamızın birinci bölümünde girişimcilik kavram ve kapsamı ele alınmış olup, ikinci bölümde de bölgesel kalkınma konusu işlenmiştir. Bölgesel kalkınma ile girişimciliğin ilişkilendirildiği üçüncü bölümde ise sosyokültürel yapı ve girişimciliğe etkisi hakkında bilgi verilirken dördüncü bölümde de girişimcilik ile nasıl bölgesel kalkınmanın nasıl sağlanabilineceği ve Türkiye’deki bölgesel kalkınmaya yönelik faaliyetler kaleme alınmıştır.
