ÖZETİnguinal fıtık kesesi içinde apendiks vermiformis bulunması ilk kez 1735 yılında Claudius Amyand tarafından tanımlanmıştır. Tüm kasık fıtığı operasyonları göz önüne alındığında fıtık kesesi içinde normal apendiks bulunma insidansı % 0,5-1' dir. Fıtık kesesi içinde akut apendisit bulunma insidansı ise daha nadir bir durum olup % 0,1'dir. Yazımızda inkarsere sağ inguinal herni tanısıyla acil olarak ameliyata alınan ve fıtık kesesi içinde akut apandisit saptanan olgu sunuldu. Nadir rastlanan bir hastalık olması, tanı yöntemlerinin tartışılması, uygulanacak cerrahi yöntemlerin gözden geçirilmesini amaçladık.Anahtar Kelimeler: Amyand fıtığı, akut apandisit, inguinal fıtıkAmyand Hernia: Case ReportABSTRACTIt was first identified in 1735 by Claudius Amyand that there is appendix vermiformis in inguinal hernial sac. Considering all the ingunial hernia operations,the incidence of the find out the normal appendix in hernia sac is %0,5-1. The incidence of the find out the acute appendicitis in hernia sac which is very rare is %0,1. This article is about a phenomenon that had urgently operated with the diagnosis of incarcerated right inguinal hernia and found out the acute appendicitis in the hernia sac. Because of the rareness of the phenomenon, we aim to discuss the ways of diagnosis and overview the surgical methods to be applied.Key Words: Amyand's hernia, Acute appendicitis, Inguinal hernia
