Objective: In our country and all around the world, the health of pregnant women and infants is a significantly important parameter in showing the adequacy of health services. The services of prenatal care, birth under healthy circumstances, postnatal follow-up of the puerperants, newborn baby care and the follow-up of the infants growth and development are the most basic health services. By these services is going to be provided that mothers are going to have more healthy pregnancies and more healthy babies. Methods: Our research is an identifying research that is made in the months between July 2008 – August 2008 in the all villages of Ağrı. The survey has done with one of the parents by face to face by the health personnel by visiting all the villages. Our survey includes 9 questions. Obtained data has been assessed by SPSS 15.0 statistic program package.Conclusion: In our study, the survey has been carried out to 2636 people from 571 villages. %99.8 of those surveyed had been visited for vaccination in the last month, %87.9 had been carried out pregnancy follow-up. %84.3 had been vaccinated for tetanus during pregnancy period. %96.7 said their children had been fully vaccinated and follow-up carried out. Health personnal not reach %1.4 of them and %2.1 rejected the vaccination by their willings. If we provide an effective prenatal and postnatal care to the pregnants we can reduce mother, infant mortality rates.Key Words: Pregnancy, Prenatal Care, Infant follow-up
Amaç: Ülkemizde ve dünyada gebe ve bebek sağlığı, sağlık hizmetlerinin yeterliliğini göstermede çok önemli bir parametredir. Doğum öncesi bakım, sağlıklı koşullarda doğum ve doğum sonrası yapılan loğusa izlemleri ile bebeğe yönelik yenidoğan bakımı ve büyüme gelişmenin değerlendirilmesi izlemleri en temel hizmetlerdir. Bu hizmetler ile annelerin daha sağlıklı gebelik geçirerek daha sağlıklı bebeklere sahip olmaları sağlanacaktır.Gereç ve Yöntem: Araştırmamız, Ağrı ilindeki tüm köylerde 2008 yılı Temmuz-Ağustos ayları arasında yapılan tanımlayıcı nitelikte bir çalışmadır. Merkez ve ilçelerdeki tüm köylere sağlık personeli tarafından ziyaretler yapılarak, hane halkı ebeveynlerden biriyle görüşülerek yüz yüze yöntemiyle anket uygulanmıştır. Anketimiz 9 sorudan oluşmuştur. Elde edilen verilerin SPSS 15.0 ile istatistiksel değerlendirmesi yapılmıştır. Bulgular: Çalışmamızda 571 köyden toplam 2636 kişiye anket uygulanmıştır. Anket yapılan hanelerdeki kişilerin %99,8'i sağlık personelinin aşı için son bir ay içinde kendilerini ziyaret ettiğini, %87,9'u gebelik takiplerinin yapıldığını, %84,3'ü gebelikleri sırasında tetanos aşısının yapıldığını ifade etmiştir. %96,7'si çocuklarının aşılarının tam olduğunu, takiplerinin yapıldığını, %1,4'ü sağlık personelinin kendilerine ulaşmadıklarını, %2,1'i ise aşıyı reddettiklerini ifade etmişlerdir.Sonuç: Gebe kadınlara verilecek etkili bir doğum öncesi ve doğum sonrası bakım ile anne ve bebek ölüm hızlarının düşürülmesine önemli katkılar sağlanacaktır.Anahtar Kelimeler: Gebelik, doğum öncesi bakım, bebek izlemi
