Transmission of electrical energy and that might affect the environment and people in order to use electromagnetic fields. Strong at 50-60 Hz fields has to live with for a long time in human, animal and plants as possible with the aim to determine the physiological and biological effects of both experimental and epidemiological studies. In this study running a working electricity distribution firm in male workers exposed to electromagnetic transformer-induced effect and determination of possible health effects of the electromagnetic field is created. To do this, transformer has exposed to 60 people working at the same institution but an exposure group and not exposed to a control group of 20 to the transformer. Research survey; and exposure, and has been applied to the control group. As a result, the conditions of exposure to electromagnetic fields should be examined by making the necessary adjustments and, accordingly, national standards should be determined. To continue research on this topic, in terms of scientific and public health matters.
Elektrik enerjisinin iletilmesi ve kullanımı sırasında çevreyi ve insanları etkileyebilecek elektromanyetik alanlar meydana gelmektedir. 50- 60 Hz’de kuvvetli alanlar içerisinde uzunca bir süre yaşamak zorunda olan insan, hayvan ve bitkilerdeki olası fizyolojik ve biyolojik etkileri belirlemek amacı ile hem deneysel hem de epidemiyolojik çalışmalar yapılmaktadır. Bu çalışmayı bir elektrik dağıtım firmasında çalışan erkek işçilerin trafo kaynaklı elektromanyetik etkiye maruz kalması ve elektromanyetik alanın oluşturduğu olası sağlık etkilerinin belirlenmesi oluşturmaktadır. Bunun için, trafolara maruz kalan 60 kişilik bir maruziyet grubu ve aynı kurumda çalışan ancak trafolara maruz kalmayan 20 kişilik bir kontrol grubu seçilmiştir. Araştırma anketi ise; hem maruziyet, hem de kontrol grubuna uygulanmıştır. Sonuç olarak elektromanyetik alanlara maruz kalma şartları incelenmeli ve bunlara göre gerekli düzeltmeler yapılarak, ulusal standartlar belirlenmelidir. Bu konuda yapılacak araştırmaların devam etmesi, bilimsel ve toplum sağlığı açısından önemlidir.
