Dramaturgy is a concept which is related to dramatic texts and their visualization. In dramaturgy, the game text is intellectually and aesthetically resolved and visualization of text is interpreted trough a certain way of thinking. When this work, based on the visualization of the basic parameters forming the dramatic narration, is not carried out the films become untidy narratives. Dramaturgy that helps to director, supports contribution and opens up his mind, is to be done with an holistic understanding embracing a multidisciplinary approach including philosophy, history, sociology, psychology, etc. From this context, the lack of intellectual background and dramaturgy which forms this background in many narratives of Turkish cinematography stands out. In this study Umit Unal’s film “Nar” (pomegranate) is taken as a sample for dramaturgy resolution.
Dramaturgi, dramatik metinlere ve onların görselleştirilmesine dair bir kavramdır. Dramaturgide oyun metni düşünsel ve estetik olarak çözümlenmekte, metnin görselleştirilmesi belli birdüşünce doğrultusunda yorumlanmaktadır. Dramatik öykülemeyioluşturan temel parametrelerin görselleştirilmesine dayanan buçalışma yapılmadığı zaman, filmler savruk birer anlatıya dönüşmektedirler. Rejiye yardımcı olan, ufkunu açan ve katkı sağlayan dramaturgi, felsefe, tarih, sosyoloji, psikoloji vb. birçok disipline yönelik birikim içinde tümel bir anlayışla yapılmaktadır. Bu bağlamdan bakıldığında, Türk sinemasının pekçok anlatısında düşünsel temel ve bu temeli oluşturan ramaturginin eksikliği göze çarpmaktadır.
