Bu çalışmadaelektriksel anizotropi yatay ve düşey yönde incelenmiştir. Yatay yöndeanizotropinin doğrultu ve eğimle değişimi teorik örneklerle araştırılmıştır. Buamaç için kare elektrot dizilim kullanılmıştır. Genel olarak, elektrikselizotrop ortamlarda hesaplanan görünür özdirenç verilerini kutupsalkoordinatlarda çizdiğimizde çember, anizotrop olan ortamlarda ise çiçek yapısı şekli gözlenmiştir. Buçalışmanın ikinci kısmında düşey yönde elektriksel anizotropi incelenmiştir.Düşey yönde anizotropi incelenirken Schlumberger elektrot dizilimikullanılmıştır. Elektriksel olarak anizotrop olan ortamlarda tabakalı yapılariçin teorik veriler hesaplanmış ve çizilmiştir. Daha sonra teorik eğrilerdentabaka parametreleri çok hızlı tavlama benzetimi yöntemi ile hesaplanmıştır.  Düşey elektrik sondaj arazi verilerindenönerilen yöntem ile tabaka parametreleri kestirilmiştir. Sonuçlar daha önceaynı veri setini kullanıp parçacık sürü optimizasyonu ile kestirilen tabakaparametreleri ile karşılaştırılmıştır. In this study, electrical anisotropy was investigatedin horizontal and vertical directions. Strike and dip angles were examined withtheoretical examples regarding of anisotropy in the horizontal direction. Asquare electrode array was preferred for this purpose. In general; when we plotthe apparent resistivity data calculated in an electrically isotropic medium inthe polar diagram, the shape of the apparent resistivity curve is circle.However, a flower shape was observed in an electrically anisotropic mediumusing apparent resistivity values in the polar diagram. In the second part ofthis work, the electrical anisotropy in the vertical direction wasinvestigated. Schlumberger electrode array was used for examination of theanisotropy in the vertical direction. In the case of electrical anisotropicmedia, the theoretical data for layered structures were calculated and plotted.Then we explained that how layer parameters estimated from the theoreticalcurves using very fast simulated annealing method. Estimation of layer parameterswere calculated by the method proposed in this study using the verticalelectric sounding field data. Finally, these estimated results were comparedwith the result predicted value using the particle swarm optimization methodwith the same data set previously.
