Description:

Removing pesticide from soil is a general problem in the world. In this study, because it is commonly used, cypermethrin has been chosen as an insecticide sample. Three types of pumice which wereWDNHQIURP$NVDUD\1HYúHKLUDQG,VSDUWDZHUHXVHGas adsorbent for cypermethrin. The adsorption process took place in laboratory conditions. The IRpeaks of cypermethrin adsorbed on pumices wereobserved at 1489 and 1449 cm-1. The symmetric CCl vibration appeared at 691 cm-1 in fingerprint region. The band of spectra after adsorption in all pumices was seen at 693 cm-1. The presence of some IRpeaks of cypermethrin on pumice, is the evidence ofadsorption. ICP-OES method was used to investigatewhether pumice is hazardous when transported tolake water for ecological cycle. The results of ICPOES indicated that metal transitions from pumice tolake water were observed. And also, in liquid samples, ICP-OES results show that NO3- ion rate ishigher in the lake water samples from which weretaken near non pesticide zone than frequently usedareas. ICP-OES results show that there is no effectof pumice on water quality for lake.
