Four diterpenoid alkaloids, two of them being the known compounds lycoctonine and ajaconine, were isolated from the aerial parts of Consolida hohenackeri. The two new compounds were C-19 alkaloids, hoheconsoline and consolinine. The structures of the compounds were elucidated by I-D and 2-D NMR techniques. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science Ltd.
