Agricultural Extension is a non-formal and voluntary training system, pursuing the objective to help persons engaged in agriculture to improve themselves in social, economic and cultural terms. Recently, the public extension has been criticized in terms of limited access, interest and high costs. These have formed the opportunity to accelerate the transmission to the private extension, which aims the information required by the agrarian persons and therefore ensures the farmer-oriented advisory services. Agricultural advisory services have been considered as a significant factor in agricultural development. The concept of agricultural advisory services and agricultural extension implies all of the organizations contributing and supporting to solving problems of agrarian persons, providing information and increasing their skills. This study aims to set forth the perspectives and problems of agricultural advisers towards the advisory system within the process of transmission from the public sector to the private one, highlighting their social-economic structures. Hence, within the transmission to the private extension, the role of the agricultural advisers may be understood better and the decision makers may be provided with data in order to establish better policies in this line. These results may be regarded as an experience for the similar countries. The research was conducted in the city center and district of Antalya Province. The main data of the study are consisted of those acquired from independent agricultural advisers and private agricultural advisory companies registered at the Agricultural Advisory Association in Antalya. The data collected was analyzed through the proportional dispersion and Multiple Correspondence Analysis, making use of the SPSS package program. In this study, MCA was used due to its convenience to analyze various variables simultaneously. According to the results of the research, the most significant problems in the application of the agricultural advisory system are those in the support of the system. These problems enshrine the problems on the promotion of the advisory system and terms of payment. The most significant problems the advisers encounter with the producers are specified as the reluctance to honor the advisory charges, insufficiencies and delays related to it.
