<p>The aim of the study was to determine the gen-otoxicity of chlorothalonil and glyphosate potassium salt. Increasing use of these pesticides makes it nec-essary to determine their possible adverse effects on humans. Chlorothalonil and glyphosate potassium salt were administered in three different concentra-tions (Glyphosate potassium salt: 0.6 mg/L, 0.12 mg/L, 0.24 mg/L; Chlorothalonil: 0.03 mg/L, 0.06 mg/L, 0.15 mg/L) to human lymphocytes. An alka-line comet assay was conducted and Tail DNA Per-centage parameter was chosen to demonstrate DNA Damage. According to our results, glyphosate potas-sium salt has a considerably harmful effect on geno-toxicity. DNA damage was significantly higher in all glyphosate potassium salt groups when compared to the control group. Chlorothalonil, which is generally considered to be genotoxic, did not cause any signif-icant DNA damage.<br></p>
