Süleyman Demirel University Faculty of Medicine hasentered the accreditation process of the undergraduatemedical education program since 2016, aimingto further increase the quality of medical education.In this context, various studies have been initiated toadd new ones to existing opportunities and capabilitiesand to develop existing ones.In this study, which is complementary to the accreditationactivities, it is aimed to equip the Faculty of MedicineDean's Office with medical history visuals.The visuals are placed with three different conceptsthat complement each other. The first of these; These are two images placed at the entrance of the Dean'sOffice, welcoming students and other people enteringthe faculty building at the first entrance. In the secondconcept images, again, the visuals of the threegreat physicians (Hippocrates, Galen and Ibn-i Sina)were included. The third group of images is about thephysicians and other scientists who have contributedgreatly to the development of modern medicine, andthe important developments in medicine.From the entrance of the Faculty of Medicine Dean'sOffice, the wide, bright and spacious corridor leadingto the new classrooms (lecture halls) and the corridorleading to the large hall with student lockers on theground floor have been completed with medical historyvisuals.As a result, these visuals that create visual awarenessin terms of medical history and medical education,draw the attention of students to the history ofmedicine, enrich the appearance of the Dean's Officeand reflect the existing corporate identity value andculture as an indicator of the importance given to thehistorical development process of medicine.Süleyman Demirel Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi 2016yılından itibaren mezuniyet öncesi tıp eğitimi programınınakreditasyonu sürecine girerek tıp eğitimi kalitesinidaha da artırmayı amaçlamıştır. Bu kapsamdamevcut imkân ve kabiliyetlere yenilerinin eklenmesive var olanların da geliştirilmesi için çeşitli çalışmalarbaşlatılmıştır.Akreditasyon faaliyetlerini tamamlayıcı mahiyetteki buçalışmada Tıp Fakültesi Dekanlık Binası’nın tıp tarihigörselleri ile donatılması amaçlanmaktadır.Görseller birbirlerini tamamlayan üç farklı konseptleyerleştirilmiştir. Bunlardan ilki; Dekanlık Binası’nınhemen girişine yerleştirilen, ilk girişte öğrencileri veDekanlık Binası’na giren diğer kişileri karşılayan ikigörseldir. İkinci konsept görsellerinde yine ilk olaraküç büyük hekimin (Hipokrat, Galen ve İbn-i Sina) görselineyer verilmiştir. Üçüncü grup görseller ise moderntıbbın gelişimine büyük katkı sağlamış hekimlerve diğer bilim insanları ile tıpta yaşanan önemli gelişmelerleilgilidir.Fakülte girişinden itibaren yeni dersliklere (amfilere)giden geniş, aydınlık ve ferah koridorun ve hemen altkatında yer alan öğrenci dolaplarının bulunduğu genişsalona giden koridorun tıp tarihi görselleri ile donatılmasıtamamlanmıştır.Sonuç olarak tıp tarihi ve tıp eğitimi açısından görselfarkındalık oluşturan, öğrencilerin dikkatini tıp tarihineçeken bu görseller Tıp Fakültesi Dekanlık Binası’nıngörünümünü zenginleştirmiş ve tıbbın tarihsel gelişimsürecine verilen önemin bir göstergesi olarak var olankurum kimliği değerini ve kültürünü yansıtmaktadırlar.
