Using a cross-sectional research design that was employed to gather 142 survey questionnaires from employees at a national election commission in West Malaysia, the SmartPLS path model analysis findings show that organizational commitment and job motivation are essential results of supportive leaders. In addition, the effect of leaders’ support on job motivation is mediated by organizational commitment. This study is novel due to the addition of new knowledge by suggesting that leaders’ support has strongly inspired employees to commit to the organization, thereby enhancing job motivation in the organizational sample.
